More Laughable College Theatre Ads
CSB School of Design and Arts:

School of Theatre at Illinois State University:
Captain Obvious quote: "What we're trying to do is the best theatre that we can"
I really enjoy the shot of the perfectly manicured hand sliding up a sound fader.
Technical theatre is actually a fairly interesting job. While I may not always enjoy work, I can honestly say that I am never bored (okay, maybe DURING a show, but...). How all of these ads make the profession sound horribly mundane is beyond me.

Ahahahahaha
I need to go to this school, where technical theatre is synonymous with equestrian outings, artsy water-films, and musical stylings that would make James Lipton weep.

Tee hee!
This is like a corporate training video for electricians. Particularly wonderful is how the sound isn't synced with the image. Also, this guy is a fuck-me-nut advocate, and therefore cannot be trusted.

About Me
- KDubs
- New York, New York, United States
- Tired. Caffeinated. Quietly evil.
I'm a theatre technician, living and working in NYC. Also an aspiring costumer, makeup artist, playwright and dilettante.
I like to rant about things, I swear like a person who swears a lot, and I work too much. Other than that, my time is spent at home with the puppy or in Chelsea bars with friends and co-workers.
